ABU Zaria Team Wins The Shell Eco-marathon Competition In South Africa

Shell Eco-marathon challenges student teams around the world to design, build and drive the most energy-efficient cars.
After a successful launch in 2014, Shell Eco-marathon came back to South Africa in 2015 to see 12 teams from South Africa and Nigeria take to the track to battle for ultimate energy efficiency.

In 2016, the competition is hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg again, and took place at the Zwartkops Raceway.

ABU Zaria Team won the Shell Eco Marathon as the result was released some few hours ago. Jubilation at Faculty of Engineering, ABU Zaria over the victory by the Team!
