Does Buhari deserve a second term?

It is said that one good turn deserves another. Does President Muhammadu Buhari deserve a second term in office? Has he performed well to deserve another term?
These questions have palpitated in my head effectuating mixed feelings. The reason is that President Buhari if weighed on the scale of some expected deliverable such as security (fighting insurgency specifically) and combating corruption; I would say he has performed five points above average. But if examined on the slab of economy, health, policy, national cohesion, impartiality, rule of law and fairness, I would say he has flunked the essential test of governance.

OAP Daddy Freeze Shares Another Angle 'You are a spiritual bastard if......'

Still on the matter! OAP Daddy Freeze is not backing down on his campaign against what he describes as 'injustice' in the church. In his latest article, he says you are a spiritual bastard if....

Read Below...
Your earthly father cannot drive a G-Wagon while you enter bus, so why is the case of spiritual fathers and Daddy GOs different?

In the book of Acts chapter 4 from verse 32, it is clearly explained how the believers (apostles and the converts alike) shared the offering.

What Happened to Truth...?

By Udenenwu John Chike
Today in our mournful cry we ask, whatever happened to the truth in this country? We inquire whatever happened to the purveyor of this truth? Where are the many men and women of goodwill? Do we still sit still and watch as men of ill-will lay evil precedence? Maybe we've been
carried away by some sense of urgency to overlook this truth in a bid to promoting peace & unity even in the face of tyranny and recklessness in handling political unrest.

Atiku Did Not Lie... We Know These Things.

By Udenenwu John Chike
'Those against the restructuring of Nigeria are lazy...'. Those were the solemn words of a former vice president; Atiku Abubakar. And this singular utterance have irked some of our northern leaders who have attacked Atiku ceaselessly, they've discredited him & have vowed to bring him to his knee. They had preferred he never spoke about the deplorable state of northern Nigeria. They had wished he sees the rot and turn a blind eye. Don't tell us our faults, just see it and remain silent. Let our people continue living in abject poverty and in mud houses so long as nobody knows about it and nobody speaks about it publicly.

Who Hillary Clinton Epp? - Reno Omokri

On Election Day 2016, I urged all my friends to go out and vote for Donald Trump with the following message:
“Get out and vote for the unborn fetus, get out and vote for God ordained marriage between a man and a woman, get out and vote against transgender bathrooms, get out and vote against Roe V Wade, get out and vote for Donald J. Trump! He might not be perfect, but he will promote those conservative values that have kept a check on the moral fabric of society and nominate conservative Supreme Court Justices,”

Buhari’s tyranny and the call for revolution in Nigeria

Are you sincerely pleased with the situation in Nigeria under the leadership of President Buhari? This is the first question every Nigerian should ask themselves before deciding on the actions to take.
I was wondering when things will begin to take shape then I discovered that people of Nigeria still have a long way to go because the country has become a police state where citizens are subjected to the will of dictator Buhari.

This administration has a clear Northern agenda

Op–ed pieces and contributions are the opinions of the writers only and do not represent the opinions of Jtownonline
A new pipeline is in the offing, from Port Harcourt to Kano. Then three new power plants. One in Kano, one in Kaduna, one in Abuja. This comes as more resources are being devoted to the search for oil in the North-East, then there’s that 3% of VAT thing, that somehow Kano got itself involved in, despite a) not being in the North-East, and b) not exactly being victims of Boko Haram’s festivities.
There’s no hiding it. This administration has a clear agenda, and the North is front and centre of that agenda. Many of my southern compatriots have complained, bitterly in some cases, about how we are constantly “shafted” by the North. I think different. To be honest, I can’t help but envy the almost laser sharp focus of the northern elite in cornering the resources of this ‘ere country for their purpose. Whether those resources are used properly is another matter. What matters here is the lessons to be learned.
First, it is true that the northern elite is ahead, only just, of the various factions in the South as the most hedonistic and self-obsessed group of people in this country, and those guys have managed to abuse noble concepts like Zakat for their own selfish purposes. But I’m a firm believer in the theory of enlightened self-interest, and as the resources available to share dwindle, and the population, especially in the North, grows, I believe that a leader will eventually emerge in the North, who will go beyond

Plateau: When politicians betray our trust.

Since the emergence of this democratic dispensation, the citizens of the state have continued to witness various leadership styles both from the grassroots level to the peak of governance in the state. While some of these politicians have proved their worth in the act of governance, quite a few selfish ones have only but ended up making a fool out of themselves. BULUS GAMBO writes.
ABOUT five years ago, one of the prominent politicians on the Plateau in his usual habit went to one of these social joints in the heart of the city of Jos, the Plateau State capital and ordered for himself a full plate of goat-head pepper soup. In fact, he was routinely used to doing so without asking anyone close-by to kindly join him until that fateful day when he was confronted by this young man who has been monitoring his selfish disposition.

WAKE UP PLATEAU STATE!!!!!

Its disheartening but one must ask, how did Plateau State got included among the (NEDC) states when the name of the Commission still remains the North Eastern Development Commission. Where is Plateau State in the Northeastern project ?
Aside (NEDC) the North East enjoy benefits like (VSF) Victims Support Fund, and other special packages from the President/first lady e.t.c. yet Plateau State benefits nothing due to poor representation.

(MUST READ) Aisha Buhari And That BBC Interview ..

Public communication is one of the most delicate challenges that people in public life face, either in the corporate or the public sector.
Many people suddenly find themselves in high places, and they become a source of news, a potential interview subject, and they get chased around by journalists and other media figures who want a story, in fact, not just a story, but a scoop.
I used to explain in communication coaching classes and to the bosses whose media I managed, at one point or the other that they should never feel obliged to say things they do not want to say. No matter how aggressive the journalist may be, they should be careful what they say.

Five key takeaways from Aisha Buhari's interview.

Our beloved President yesterday made things worse after he reacted to the interview granted by his wife who belongs to the "other room". Her interview generated so much controversy and questions among Nigerians especially members and supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress. (APC).
When we take a close look at her translated BBC Hausa interview(READ INTERVIEW),  there are five things we should be able to understand about this administration of GMB.

  1. This defeats every excuse President Buhari gave in the delay in ministerial appointments: Contrary to what was sold to us in 2015 when the presidency delayed picking ministers for a record 6 months, the First Lady has strongly asserted that some political forces influenced the appointment of ministers. And we believe her. At the time, we were told that President Buhari was following the principle of “Separation of Powers” and was not accepting nominees by state governors because apparently, his administration was sworn to changing the face of governance in the country. The abysmal performance of some of these ministers and the ridiculous excuses they have given for their ineptitude cements Aisha Buhari’s claims.

Demons are speaking through President Buhari, he can kill his own children - Femi Fani Kayode

Former spokesperson of the PDP Presidential campaign, Femi Fani-Kayode has also reacted to president Buhari's statement today, in response to his wife's BBC interview.

He tweeted that the demons are speaking through the president, he can kill his own children, and he needs a lot of prayer. Read after the cut...

"When our President can get up and tell the whole world all the way from distant Germany that his wife "belongs to the kitchen, the living room and the other room" simply because she dared to speak her mind to the BBC then you know that he is in the grip of something evil and that demons are speaking through him.

People tend to be alarmed when the Nigerian Presidency – Aso Rock – takes certain decisions. They don’t think the decision makes sense. Sometimes, they wonder if something has not gone wrong with the thinking process at that highest level of the country. I have heard people insist that there is some form of witchcraft at work in the country’s seat of government.

I am ordinarily not a superstitious person, but working in the Villa, I eventually became convinced that there must be something supernatural about power and closeness to it. I’ll start with a personal testimony. I was given an apartment to live in inside the Villa. It was furnished and equipped. But when my son, Michael arrived, one of my brothers came with a pastor who was supposed to stay in the apartment. But the man refused claiming that the Villa was full of evil spirits and that there would soon be a fire accident in the apartment.

"The Vestiges Of Kaduna Mafia Must Not Kill Aisha Buhari"

This very interesting article by Bamidele Ademola-Olateju about First Lady Aisha Buhari and the drama going on underneath is currently trending. Recall that Mrs Buhari had, in an interview with BBC Hausa said that people who did not share the vision of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) were now appointed to top posts because of the influence a "few people" wield.

Nigeria’s economic recession may last another 20 years – Jimoh Ibrahim

Ondo state governorship aspirant and embattled businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, says the economic recession being experienced in Nigeria may linger on for another 20 years. Jimoh said this while delivering a speech at a book launch at the Obafemi Awolowo University recently.
“With the current crude oil prices and current situation of the country, except there is a miracle that will chance the situation, we may be experiencing this recession for 20 years. Our Naira has lost its value and this is the worst recession I have seen in many years and nothing seems to be happening”he said

{MUST READ} The Euphoria of CGPA And The Illusion Of Sucess Among University Students.

I CAME ACROSS THIS ARTICLE ON FACEBOOK AND IT IS THOUGHT PROVOKING...READ ARTICLE BELOW.....
Social media platform. The comments revealed how some students were saddened by the potential mass failure in a departmental course and how their 'CGPAs' are on the verge of a possible decline. The feelings that came with this was very much nostalgic.

The Nigerian educational system has passed through some facets. With the Tertiary level, being the zenith of this Britannic model of education. Over the past decades, what has proved to be a subject of passion, zeal, desperation and extremism in Nigerian Universities is the CGPA. Upon admission into the University, the goal of every student is to graduate with a FIRST CLASS. Majority of such dreams, more often than not, dies in the second year into the University.

An Open Letter To Plateau Youths

I am writing this letter to youths on the Plateau because I am angry with them and how I wish anyone that reads this will forward this letter until all youths on the Plateau read this letter.
I wanted writing this letter sometime last year but I guess procrastination and other school activities deterred me from writing.
There are many issues that I will love to address or better still will love to raise about they youths on the Plateau. I am not generalizing these issues on all youths on the Plateau. Pleases don't get me wrong.
