Unijos Student arrested for robbery.

The Lagos State Police command yesterday arrested a five man robbery gang who attacked the resident of Mr Wilson Onazi, father of super eagles and former Lazio of Italy player Paul Onazi, carting away his Toyota SUV, cash and other valaubles.
The armed robbery gang were arrested in Lagos while at the verge of selling the SUV.  The arrest which was made by Anti-Crime unit of Lagos State Police command led by the officer incharge of Ajagbandi Division Mr. Musa Alimi.

The theme of the Retreat which is “Building Inter-ministerial Synergy for Effective Planning and Budgeting in Nigeria” is very apt and timely, especially as we are in the process of developing the 2017 Budget.

Need for a cabinet shake-up in Nigeria.

THE economic meltdown current being experienced in the country has occupied public discourse from all the states of the federation lately. Recently, Senator Dino Melaye, the Senate Committee Chairman on Federal Capital Territory called on President Muhammadu Buhari to carry out a minor cabinet shake-up to remove those he described as not performing well. Senator Melaye mentioned the names of the cabinet members which included: Dr. (Mrs.) Kemi Adeosun – Minister of Finance, Mr. Udoma Udo Udoma –Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, and Mr. Godwin Emiefele – Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

Alarming rate of examination question papers leakage in Unijos..

I am a student of University of  Jos and it pains me that I have to write this piece. Unijos was one time the best university in Nigeria and among the first twenty in Africa. So the question now is what went wrong? what is the university authority not getting right?. Sometimes I seat with consternation and ask myself many question which I have failed to find answers to.

Sometimes I seat with great consternation on the rationale behind some photos especially this trend of so call maternity photos. Now the problem is not in taking the photo but taking the photo stark naked. I don't really know what they are trying to tell the world but believe me this madness is going very far and something must be done before one day a pregnant woman will show us her sex organ in the name of maternity photo.

My lecturer raped me, female student cries out.

My name is Grace and I am a student of Unijos and I am presently in 100 level. I am not going to include my department and faculty for my safety. I have being hearing of rape cases but I never knew that one day I will be a victim of such inhumane act. Before this incident, I thought that most victims of rape are girls who dress indecently, Just as it is being portray in Nigeria home videos.
This is how it all happened.

Governor Lalong to do this for development to come to Plateau State

The Plateau  State Governor, Simon Bako Lalong has assured his administration's commitment to partner with any organization that means well for the state.
He disclosed this during the unveiling ceremony of the boxing equipment by the Bullet Energy Drink Nigeria Limited, to the Boxing Association, held at the Boxing Gym on Friday.

Plateau State Government to develop tourism sub- sector.

The Plateau State government said it would develop the tourism sub-sector to serve as an alternative source of revenue instead  of depending on federal allocation.
Governor Lalong stated this when the Association of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria  {ATPN} led by its President, Alhaji Kabir Malan paid him a courtesy call at Government House Rayfield, Jos Thursday. Represented by his Deputy, Professor Sonni Tyoden, Lalong said Tourismoccupied a central position in the developmental aspirations of his government.
