PLSG condemns scores of Riyom ethnic attacks

THE Plateau State Government has observed with dismay the unfortunate recent attacks that led to the killings of innocent people in Riyom Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Hon. Malam Muhammad Nazif and made available to SUNDAY STANDARD in Jos last Friday.
The state government also condemned this inhuman act in its totality saying that, government would not fold its hands and watch wicked people destroy the hard earned peace that has been achieved in the state.
It called on citizens to remain calm as government in collaboration with security agencies were leaving no stone unfold to uniform the perpetrators of this dastardly act and bring them to book.
Government also appeals to all peaceful and law abiding citizens of the state to maintain peace and report any suspicious movement to the security agencies.

The statement called on the public to always pass any relevant information to the appropriate authorities that would aid in arresting the culprits.
Government equally sympathized with the families of those who lost their beloved ones during the attack.
