Baby born without anus, genitals born in Onitsha (photos)

Medical doctors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, Anambra State, are in dilemma over the condition of a baby born recently without anus to determine the sex of the baby.
And in order to excrete urine and feces,the doctors had to perforate the baby's abdomen to eliminate waste.

The Anti-Pipeline Vandalization Unit of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested eighteen suspected vandals, impounded two vessels and twenty trucks loaded with stolen petroleum products.
Parading eight of the suspects on Monday, November 7 in Abuja, the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Donald Awunah said the constant vandalization of Pipelines, destruction of oil and gas infrastructure and the illegal dealing in Petroleum products in the country have been a source of grave concern to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris.

NSCDC accused of shielding officers who attacked man and son

Yusuf Ayinla, an estate agent,  has accused the Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps of shielding its officials, who allegedly shot him and injured his three-year-old son.
He said the command had yet to probe the operatives who stormed his residence on Fijabi Road, Bode Olude, in Abeokuta on September 25, allegedly shot him in the hand and smashed the butt of a gun on his son’s mouth.
This is just as the state police command said it had commenced investigation into the alleged assault and promised to ensure that the operatives did not go unpunished if found culpable.

Stop claiming responsibility for oil pipeline bombings – Avengers tells co-militant group, NDGJM

There are indications of hostilities within the camp of militant groups in the Niger Delta region.

This was as the Niger Delta Avengers berated the Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate, NDGJM, for claiming responsibility for most of the attacks carried out on pipeline in the region.

NDGJM has severally claimed responsibility for attack on pipeline installations across the oil rich region.

Zahra Buhari has shared her experience at the burial of the seven soldiers who in the war-front. Sharing photos from the sad event she wrote;
"Yesterday, I experienced a burial for the first time in my life. Right before my eyes I saw our 7 heroes laid to rest, I couldn't hold back my tears. I looked up and saw my mother wiping away her tears and then Lt. Gen. Buratai's voice shaking as he gave his touching speech to bid good bye for the last time. Lt Gen Buratai listed town after town, village after village that were recaptured by the army led by our 7 fallen soldiers.

Sen. Abdulmumin Jibrin alleges threat to his life, goes on exile

Suspended former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Abdulmumin Jibrin, has gone on exile.



He has vowed never to return to Nigeria unless his safety can be guaranteed.

The embattled lawmaker who left Nigeria for London last week to receive an award and take his anti-corruption campaign to international community, made his decision public in an interview aired on the London based Ben TV, on Monday.
