Dogara, others attempted to assassinate me – Jibrin

Suspended House of Representatives member Honourable Abdulmumin Jibrin on Tuesday said the lower chamber had no moral right to criticise the operation carried out by the Department of State Services (DSS) over the weekend.
Jibrin also alleged that Speaker of the House, and other persons he accused of corruption in the budget padding saga made attempts to kidnap and assassinate him.
Writing a rejoinder to the DSS on his Facebook page, Jibrin accused the House of engaging in a “grand cover up” on the allegations of corruption he levelled against its leadership.
He wondered why the security agency was yet to take action on his previous letter.
The rejoinder read in part, “I therefore wish to remind you that 3 months after, things have remained the same. The accused persons have become emboldened, walk around freely, carried out actions to destroy evidence, made attempts to kidnap and assassinate me and corruption continue to strive in the House of Representatives.
“Last week I raised an alarm over a deep rooted systemic corruption where billions of naira directly stolen by the Leadership and Members of the House of Representatives in the name of running cost and demanded investigation and the Minister of Finance to stop payment of such money.“I strongly believe that these chronic fraud and corruption in the House of Representatives is undoubtedly a threat to National Security and must be dealt with decisively without further delays. You will be failing in your duties and responsibilities as patriotic citizen and officials of the Department of State Services if you fail to take necessary action to bring this disgraceful and destructive situation to an end,” he said.

My husband doesn't know most people he selected - Aisha Buhari

The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has said many people have started creating division among the APC.

She made the disclosure in an interview with the Hausa Service of the BBC which was partially aired Tuesday morning.

She said:
“This worries us a lot now. Because they believe they are the ones who suffered, but are no where today. Those who didn’t do anything who don’t even have voters’ card are the ones in position, doing everything."
A portion of the interview quoted the wife of the president as saying “What I am afraid for them is the rebellion of 15 million people,” in what is believed to be an allusion to the number of the people who voted the president into power.

An Open Letter To Unijos SUG President.

Your Excellency, Comrade Sidney Daman  SUG PRESIDENT  University of Jos

I am one among the many who believes that”the worthiness of life is deep rooted in the service of mankind”.
